NOTES: The Capitol Mall has two large fountains. In the foreground a metal sculpture incorporates numerous spouts of water that cascade from its surfaces. Directly in front of the Capitol's main doors you can see the series of geyser fountains that splash down into a shallow sidewalk pool. Boxwood hedges and extensive bulb gardens of spring flowers surround this end of the mall.
