This view has lots to offer: Mt. Hood can be seen on the skyline about 45 miles away. In the foreground on the river is the Willamette Queen Riverboat heading toward moorage at Riverfront Park. West Salem on the left is joined with downtown Salem by the Center Street and Marion Street Bridges. The slough to the right of the Willamette River mainstem borders Riverfront Park and continues past Boise Cascade's Container Division. The upper end of the City of Salem's Minto-Brown Island Park is the greenspace in the lower right corner.
