Beginning October 1, 1998, households with curbside recycling service have been able to have their household batteries (see below for acceptable kinds) picked up with their other recyclable matericals. Save your batteries and place them into a zip-sealed plastic bag. Leave the bagged batteries on top of your red recycling basket with your other recyclables. Battery Types Accepted
