Oregon's Capitol celebrates springtime every year with flowering cherry trees and sequences of bedded flowers that bloom throughout the summer. Purple azaleas can be seen surrounding two benches just to the left of the walkway. This 2003 bloom was about a week earlier than usual. - PHOTO: 03/16/2003
