Colorful historic murals surrounded by polished marble both functional and decorative highlight the beautiful Oregon Capitol Rotunda. The size and scale of the great room is amazing. The two grand stairs lead to the Oregon House of Representatives (above) and the Oregon Senate. In fact, any direction you look, there's something amazing, interesting or educational to see.
Be sure to visit the Senate & House chambers, and especially the Capitol Observation Deck (2005 Schedule: Observation Deck Open to the Public beginning March 21st into September).
