At the top of the narrow ladder, one needed to turn and climb over the top railing to access a small platform. This was definitely not for the faint of heart. When it was my turn, I spent a couple of minutes on my knees catching my breath and getting accustomed to the extreme height. You can see the safety cable and reel to the right of the climber.
