The composition of this photograph is intended to show the horizon at the top behind the plastic sheeting. Not only did the sheeting of the cocoon keep the gilders work area clean, it greatly reduced vertigo. Vertigo is that uneasy, dizzy feeling most of us get from high places. The cocoon "walls" created the feeling of a ground floor workshop even though we were floating hundreds of feet in the air. Look at the horizon for a sense of the great height.
