| The Wilson River heads in the Oregon Coast Range flowing west to the Pacific Ocean. It has runs of steelhead, salmon, migratory cutthroat trout ("bluebacks") and resident native cutthroat trout. It is small water and ideal for the flyfisher. This 1938 photo shows a flyfisher finding solitude that is still available today.
