I'm putting this pattern online because it's easy to tie and if you try it...you'll find a fly that's productive in a wide variety of situations. Tied in one-size only, always the same color dubbing, tailing & thread...it's so simple you'll wonder why you haven't seen it before.
And effective? Very...but you'll have to crank out a few for yourself, follow the techniques outlined here...and see for yourself. I dislike the term "killer fly" but if someone told me I could only fish one fly for the rest of my life...I wouldn't hesitate a moment to say this would be the one.
