Maple & Fir
were used to construct the finished floor on the Elsinore's stage.
The maple flooring on the left covers approximately 1/2 of the stage, from middle to front. Behind that, the stage flooring is constructed of fir where background screens & sets are changed.
Maple is the more durable and appropriate surface where a hard, finished floor is needed.
