Three views study
the Lady Macbeth stained glass at Historic Elsinore Theatre. Restoration of the Povey Brothers windows has been completed. This included cleaning, replacing lead, putty & missing pieces, re-leading broken pieces and reinstalling using the original woodwork.
The colors revealed under 75-years of dirt and grime are stunning as are these masterworks themselves.
As colorful as these photos are, they were taken prior to the expert restoration by the Gary Swanson Studio of Mill City, Oregon. Visit the theatre to see the windows in their 1926 glory.
