    Nowland Zane's MacBeth Mural anchors the North Grand Staircase in the Elsinore's Foyer.

    Elsinore builder and artist George Guthrie is said to have re-touched the artwork because portions of the scene "were controversial".

    Renovation plans have been said to include the possibilty of restoring the original artwork by Zane.
