    Unlike Salem's Asahel Bush House, Deepwood has few of its original furnishings. This bedstead is an exception; it belonged to Mrs. Brown. Purchased from Meier & Frank in the 1930's, it's fine finish and intricate beauty must be appreciated by firsthand proximity. The room's large east-facing windows overlook the carriage house.
