    • Front Parlor Fireplace

    This ornate coal-burning fireplace, stained glass and surround of eastern golden oak was designed & constructed as a tribute to Omega, the son of Dr. Port (the original owner of Deepwood House). Omega traveled to Germany to study chemistry, planning to return and work in his father's pharmacy. He was lost at sea during a hurricane in the Azores.
