  • Historic Deepwood Estate

Elegant 1894 Deepwood Estate provides one of Oregon's finest examples of an ornate, multi-gabled Queen Anne style home. Deepwood House was designed by prominent northwest architect W.C. Knighton, whose later designs included the Oregon Supreme Court Building.

  • Click on the turret for its view in two directions.

Deepwood House features a variety of intricate, original details: Povey stained and beveled glass windows, eastern golden oak woodwork, original 1894 electric light fixtures and much more. The attention to detail and craftsmanship throughout the home is remarkable. See for yourself!

In the 1930's, English style gardens were created by the Northwest's first female landscape architecture firm, Lord & Schryver. The 5.5 acres of Deepwood Estate includes gazebos, the original carriage house, outdoor wedding gardens, and the Rita Steiner Fry Nature Trail.
